Take on a journey through the breathtaking region of the Tweed


The long-awaiting rail trail opened up its tracks on March 1st 2023. The newly opened section of the Northern Rivers will take you along a disused rail corridor - turned scenic bike trail between the Murwillumbah Railway Station and Crabbes Creek.

The trail offers peaceful pedalling with gentle gradients and a fascinating mix of countryside and subtropical forests of the Tweed Valley, created by the now extinct volcano Wollumbin that towers over the region.

Embark on a memorable guided experience using E-bikes provided by Kool Bike Hire and reward yourself with coffee and a snack at the local cafe's along the track such as The Barn in Burringbar.

The skillset of riding the Northern Rivers Rail Trail ranges from Introductory to moderate. If you rarely ride bikes trails or are a bike enthusiast, this trail is definitely something you want to tick off your list. 


WHERE : Departs from and returns to Sutherland Street next to the Kingscliff Bridge, Kingscliff, NSW 2487.

DURATION : Approximately 4 hours

SUITABLE FOR : Beginner and intermediate bike riders 

WE CATER FOR : Individuals, couples, families and groups.

Children from age 6 years and up are welcome – children under 14 years must be accompanied by an adult.
